Ken Blanchard has had tremendous impact on the day-to-day management of people and companies.
As a writer in the field of management, his impact has been far-reaching. His One Minute Manager Library, which includes The One Minute Manager (1982), Putting the One Minute Manager to Work (1984), Leadership and the One Minute Manager (1985), The One Minute Manager Gets Fit (1986), The One Minute Manager Meets the Monkey (1989), and The One Minute Manager Builds High Performing Teams (1990), has collectively sold more than seven million copies and has been translated into more than twenty languages.
Ken has also coauthored several books: Management of Organizational Behavior (with Dr. Paul Hersey), a classic textbook now in its sixth edition; The Power of Ethical Management (1988, with Dr. Norman Vincent Peale); Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach to Customer Service (1992, with Sheldon Bowles); and his most recent book, Everyone's a Coach (1995, with Don Shula). We Are the Beloved (1994), highlights Ken's spiritual journey.
Ken is chairman of Blanchard Training and Development, a full-service management consulting and training company that he founded in 1979 with his wife, Marjorie Blanchard. He maintains a visiting lectureship at Cornell University, where he also serves as Trustee Emeritus. The Blanchards live in San Diego.
